Welcome
Petra is a ministry of Christ Central Presbyterian Church (CCPC) focused on single professionals and graduate students (and some young married folk). CCPC as a whole recognizes the challenge of finding community after college. Therefore, Petra is committed to providing an environment where you can develop meaningful relationships while growing in your most important relationship (your relationship with God). So we invite you to take a moment to browse our website to learn more about our group. Please contact us if you have any questions and/or specific needs. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Reverend Paul Jeon

On Friday, October 31, we will be having a Fall Festival at Kilmer Middle School. It is an alternative to Halloween for kids where they fellowship with each other through games and other fun activities. We are also inviting Little Lights children to attend this event. What we will need are volunteers to help with many aspects of this event. It has always proven to be a fun and awesome time each year, s please mark your calendars now for this and more details will follow soon. We need LOTS of help in terms of Setting up, manning booths and stations, and chaperoning Little Lights kids around the event. If you can help, please contact Dennis at dgunsuh@gmail.com or Luiz Lee luiz.lee@gmail.com. Thanks!

Information concerning the Satellite:
To further commit to the vision of being Salt and Light on the earth, the Interim Session is very excited about the progress and development of the Satellite Committee. We feel strongly about our conviction to grow organically by forming satellite services in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area that will eventually develop into a network of community based particular churches to glorify God and spread the gospel of Christ into the communities and neighborhoods that we live, work and serve. Furthermore, this will allow CCPC the ability to become more intimate to the needs of the perishing people in our respective communities with the ultimate goal to spread the gospel of Christ through live and active diaconate service back into our communities.

If you have a heart or desire to serve in this capacity or if you have any further comments or questions, please see the FAQ that the Satellite Committee has prepared (available at http://www.christcentralpc.org/community/satellitesvcfaq.cfm) or contact the Satellite Committee at satellite@christcentralpc.org
